Free of charge
All the events within the Tall Ships Races event area are free of charge. Only the Tall Ships Races Music Festival held at Turku Castle Park on 20 and 21 July will be subject to a fee. Performances and events will be provided free of charge on three different stages in the event area, on both banks of the Aura River.

Programme for the public starts already on Wednesday 19 July
During the days of the event, plenty of activities will be organised for the public free of charge, taking place at three different locations: at Varvintori, in front of Suomen Joutsen (Swan of Finland) and on the event stage of Itäranta (eastern bank). The programme takes place mainly from Thursday to Saturday between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. On the Viking Line stage at Itäranta (eastern bank), famous artists will be performing once a day, the first one already on Wednesday 19 July.
The event area is opened for the public. Sales begin and the restaurants start serving.

14.00 – 14.45 Kalakaverit-trio
Compelling folk music about fishing.
15.30–16.30 Ilkka Arolan juhlaorkesteri
Music led by the trumpet player Ilkka Arola.
Finnish pop-artist Ellinoora is famous for her brilliant and emotional live performance.
20 – 22 Joana & Bossakopla
A local band from Turku, whose relaxed Brazilian rhythms, playfully Finnish lyrics and a top-atmosphere are one of a kind.
