Punomo

Turku’s own soul band Punomo is a burst of life-affirming energy in the form of soul music. In the octet’s distinctive vintage soul sound, an aesthetic that respects the traditions of African American soul music is charmingly woven together with Finnish lyrics. Punomo’s music is meticulously crafted in Turku, Finland. The band’s debut album ‘Punomo’ (2022) received praise and excellent reviews both domestically and internationally. Currently, the band is working on their second album, which will be released in early 2025.
