Children’s program: Merkkarit & Kai Kuutamo

Children’s music band Merkkarit and circus artist Kai Kuutamo present a dynamic show combining unique children’s rock music, skillful circus tricks, and fun interactive sing-alongs. The performance features Merkkarit’s original songs as well as classic children’s tunes. This energetic show engages the audience, giving a fresh twist to familiar children’s songs. Kai Kuutamo showcases his juggling skills to the accompaniment of the songs and leads the audience in musical games.

Merkkarit (Merimiehet) is a lively and rocking children’s music band from Turku. They play evergreen children’s songs and their own tracks with a spirited Ramones-like approach! Sharp-eared listeners and music enthusiasts might spot references to rock music classics in their songs. Kai Kuutamo is a circus arts professional with an international career. In the joint performance with Merkkarit, you will see a versatile array of spectacular juggling acts from footballs to diabolos and clubs.
