Slot Festival fills Turku Castle Park with Nostalgic World Class Artists

Slot Festival in collaboration with The Tall Ships Races Turku 2024 is bringing the hottest artists from the 90’s and 2000’s! Slot Festival in Turku Castle Park on 19–20 July is the best throwback of this festival summer.

The most expected artists in Slot Festival include the beloved Swedish band The Cardigans, and for the first time performing in Finland: Sugababes, performing with their original line-up. Besides these main performers, other international superstars will be seen on the festival’s main stage; performing for the first time in Finland the brother trio Hanson, last seen at the mainstage of Pori Jazz 2016 pop icon Paloma Faith, as well as the band who got their hype back since the Barbie movie’s release, Aqua with a big live band.
The festival’s’ lineup includes a strong representation of Finnish artists as well. Performing their only festival sets in Turku this summer: Kwan, Egotrippi, Don Huonot, Vesterinen yhtyeineen, as well as Scandinavian Music Group & Ikuiset Ystävät.
DJ Slots by Motorola Razr is going to be playing the biggest hits from the 90s and the 2000s, with e.g. the star hosts from YleX Poikelus & Pehkonen, media influencer Ina Mikkola, host Lida Moeini from the famous Radio Helsinki’s Kotibileet show, journalist-musician DJ Renaz, one of the brightest names of Helsinki’s club scenes Paha Vaanii, the golden and most danceable evergreen hits by Jytää & Iskelmää, as well as the drag collective House of Auer’s DJ set “Discoteca Auer”, which is an homage to all divas, pop-musicians and the dancefloor. Representing Turku Girl Put Your Records On DJ duo, as well as an indie disco filled with the hits from 2000’s organized by the Drink Tonight record label.
